The book My Story Behind Africa originates from this blog that I wrote on whilst volunteering for three months in Cape Town, South Africa.
The idea behind this book is to try to raise funds for the organisation I worked for during my time in South Africa, LifeZone.
LifeZone is a Non-Governmental-Organisation (NGO) based in Cape Town. They use football as a tool for personal and social transformation in schools and “high risk” communities in various Townships in Cape Town.
The book costs 15€ and all funds generated from selling this book go directly to LifeZone. There are currently 70 books in stock and if we manage to sell them all we will reach our primary objective of making a 1,050€ donation to LifeZone.
I would love to send more books to be printed and raise more money for LifeZone and therefore appreciate your contribution.
Jeremy Wyngaard, the founder of LifeZone once told me, “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work”.
Be part of the Team and let’s make the Dream possible.
